I’m Sarika Sakpal. I’m an experienced Web Designer and Multimedia/ Interactive Media developer from Pune, India. Photoshop, Flash and Actionscript are my first loves but I’m spreading my wings towards WordPress and Joomla.

Brief History

Along with my college graduation I took up a 2 year Multimedia Diploma course, in 2004, when I was hooked and my tryst with the field of multimedia began. Though I was able to acquire basic skills in softwares ranging from print media to 3d modeling and audio/video editing, I found my calling in Web Graphics design and Multimedia.

Upon completing my graduation and diploma I spent some time doing freelance work when in 2006 I joined Dharne Systems, a web design and development company. My role at Dharne Systems started out as a Jr. Graphics Designer. I went out to become a Flash Programmer and later lead their Web Design team up until October 2008. In the course of these 2 years I designed and developed several static and dynamic flash websites, flash presentations and lead my team successfully in developing various static and dynamic websites.

I’ve been freelancing as  a website designer since Jan 2009. I’m currently looking for part-time, full-time  or freelance assignments. Since I would like to continue to love doing what I do I don’t work during weekends .
